For those who enjoy a lively and upbeat place that’s still off-campus, Dutch Bros is your place! There are many locations throughout the west coast, making finding one quick and easy. If you go on a day where you’re feeling a little extra tired and dragging, Dutch Bros has both coffee and flavored energy drinks that are great caffeine boosts.

The employees are very welcoming and friendly, and there’s always some upbeat and energetic music playing in the background. If that kind of environment gives you a boost of motivation, then this is a great place to sit and crank out those assignments.

3. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

With over 100 locations in the US, this coffee shop has a very warm and cozy environment that makes you feel settled the minute you walk in. It has free WiFi, several couches, and a very warm-toned interior. This is a great place for leaving the school to get work done while also having some “you time”.

There’s usually very soft music playing throughout the store, which adds to the atmosphere without being overbearing or distracting. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is a great place to go when you have reading assignments to complete or big exams to study for.

4. Local Library

Looking for the ultimate quiet place to bury your head in the books? Try out your local library as your new study spot. Not only do you have free WiFi, but you also have access to computers and printers if you need it. 

If you don’t have a car to drive to a nearby library, you can always utilize the library on campus. The only danger is running into friends and getting sidetracked while you’re studying. In any case, it’s still a great environment for productivity.
